lotro wont open on either of our computers:/ reinstalling on one, waiting for cord to get home and look at the other. no clue what the issue is, just a heads up 'cause of the raid tonight.

after a windows update last night, i had the same problem. Went to update tab and loaded some other stuff and it came on.

holy gee goodness, i have dishpan hands already Koon!
ok so now i try to go back into the game and it wants to do the entire reinstall again. any ideas?

I don't know if you have the same problem as I did but my launcher kept locking up and I would have to end the process.
I went to the forums and found this: http://forums.lotro.com/showthread.php?t=301500&highlight=Launcher+locks
The running the invoker as admin solution worked for me. I guess a lot of people that are running Win7 or Vista had the same problem as me because of the recent beta update.

tks for the links and stuff. seems i have a program perpetually trying to reinstall lotro and i cant find it to delete it. i was able to get in game now though but keep getting these insane lags, not just like spikes but long enough that it makes me wonder if i need to reboot, but then it comes back. ::shrug::

If you want I will take a look at it, would have to remote connect to do it though and I am not sure about your feelings on that.
