A Plea

I am taking a page from Hathor's book...

So I signed up for the beginner Watcher run this upcoming weekend and it will be my first foray into it. I want to be as prepared as I can be so that the group has a higher chance of success. The problem is that my hunter is only 4/6 in radiance gear and I feel like she is not geared as much as she could be. It also hurts that I am not currently a reliable backup for the Watcher runs, when this is my main character. (Seems we have had some slight issues finding a hunter in some runs recently)

So I am making a plea to help my hunter get her shoulder piece from 16th hall. I will give each helper a mithril flake for their help. I am hoping we can get this run going on Thursday night. I am cancelling some plans I had to get this going. So if you are interested in helping please reply to this thread. I plan on starting it 8:00 EST. Afterwards I'd be willing to run other radiance runs of any sort for main characters. Thanks Hasties!

Thank you Hasties for your responses! Based on the people responding, I think the group will be as follows to try and make it go as quick and painless as possible:

Guardian - Koon
Hunter - Auri
Captain - Hathor
Champion - Durnikk
Minstrel - Helori
Loremaster - Flambe

Having a champ for the AOE will make it go a bit quicker me thinks.

Oh and Dilmor if you ever want a group for your burg class quest, look me up. I'm almost always willing to help.

So unfortunately the planned 16th hall run fell through last night. Disappointed that it didn't happen, but I am not giving up!

I am going to try again and get a group together for TONIGHT @ 8:00 EST. Please reply if you are willing to help. Offer of mithril flakes still stand.

I am *very* angry with helori right now, but if something *really* needs him, I can get him out. I will not be mailing him repair money, though, so if we keep wiping, he may begin to suck worse (if that is even possible). Basically, I tried to get his loth rep started when the run fell through, so he could upgrade his shield, and damn if the caster orcs out there are not 10 levels better than he is. Dropped totem, drained my power, healed, and killed me. So I tried again, and 2 waylayers killed me, even though I feared one, they hit so fast I stood there for at least 45 seconds casting a self heal. Its always been that way, he would not have reached 50 without help, barely got to 60 and that was done by healing instances for xp or 3 hour clears of the library of steel. He has never been able to do anything at all to better himself, so he now has some new rules: if he cannot clear something without dying equally as fast as my undergeard champ (he should actually kill faster since he is in all teals, the champ in purples), he doesnt do it. He may only spend the money he earns, no donations, no farming, so if his gear breaks, is stays broken. Until such time as he can clear the crafting instances in under 10 min, they are off limits. Until he can survive 3 orcs to earn rep, he sits idle and will use his level 48 shield. Basically, I am sick of trying to fix this broken toon when he has *never* been able to quest without help. He had a brief moment 2 patches ago, and apart from that, its been a thankless effort.

On that note, if we start on time, I will help. I will give it from 7:50 to 8:10 and then do my own thing -- if I am free and we start later fine, if I am busy, either wait or replace me. If you need helori he is there but I prefer to leave him to rot and take one of my useful characters.

It's a keeper league... 14 teams, very competitive, for ALOT of money.

Edit:: research for a fantasy draft should begin right after the NFL draft.

Yeah, I play in a big money league too and I agree that research is important. It's important to have a good base of players. But lately it seems to me that the league is won and loss during the season with the transactions you make and people you pick up off waivers. Which is probably why I've lost so much lately. Been playing too much LOTRO and not taking care of my team. :)
