Annuminas! Revisited

We all remember the days before Moria where there wasn't many things for a level 50 to do outside of raids. Some of us took to running the Annuminas dailies and instances for things to do. This was hard at the time. Well Annum doesn't seem to get much love these days because its not really somewhere you go to level. I know I'm not the only one who has reminisced about it lately either.

I'd like to organize a trip to go back! There are deeds to be done and armor pieces to collect. We need to go back and show the baddies we mean business. Show them how weve grown! It should be a fun and interesting trip.

Hers my plan:
1) We go in a do the deed Leaders of the Invasion where we kill all the outside bosses: Agarochir, Guldurchir, Siridan, Unagh, and the dreaded Valtair. The last guy a lot of us don't have because he was out of the way and a pain in the rump to kill. I here you still need a decent sized group to take him down at 60. This will give us the Title: Defender of Annuminas. Not as cool as Executioner of the Wicked, but not bad.
2) Completing that deed will open another: Leaders of the Invasion (Advanced) (I believe its called.) This one is to kill all the instance bosses. 3 I believe. I'm not for sure because I'm not there yet. But completing this deed will give you the Title: Protector of Annuminas. And a point of Innocence. Not too exciting I know, but I'm a bit of a completionist, and not a whole lot of people have done this.

Within the instances we will also increment the limrafin, kergrim, dead, and angmarium deeds to name a few. And maybe even kill a few gorthrog for that deed.

Plus people who want the special armor pieces that drop off the bosses for cosmetic can get closer to getting them!

All in all, it should be a fun, outside of Moria, but not Loth rep grinding for us to do! So if your interested, announce it! I'd like to tentativly set the date for next Monday, a week from today, July 6th. If you really want to go and this date is no good, say something anyhow, nothing is set in stone. I've been wanting to do this for a while, I just now got around to saying something though.

I'd love to get in on some Annuminas loving; however, I'm only available Sat/Sun's or Tuesdays mostly - Mon, Wed-Fri I don't get home until about 9:00pm EST. Being somewhat of a completionist myself, I'd really like getting a group together and tear up some other deeds as well - Sarnur and Bree Rep dungeon boss deeds, BG deeds, etc. If we could work out a time that's good for everyone, let me know :)

I don't really like to commit on weekends, because I never know what my parents will want from me. And the problem with Tuesdays is it appears to be a Watcher night and I didn't want to leave those people out. However I would most definitely be willing to run around and do BG deeds, and the rep bosses with ya Tuesday night. I personally did all the bosses a few months ago, but I'll go back for others.

And I'm taking Drovers comment as him wanting to go. Yay Drover!

I am also down for revisiting old instances and such especially if it means completing deeds. As a hunter I used to think that I would only need to max out certain deeds like Determination but learned that that will not always be the case! So being a completionist here may not be sucha bad thing for the future.

But i also don't want these runs to interfere with people getting their radiance gears and such also. Hopefully we can work it out.

HOLY Fudgesicles! I set that for tonight?! I'm an idiot. Soooo....I'm totally not in town and wont be till like REALLY late, but if ya'll want to go without me, by all means go!
Well hopefully I'll get back at a decent hour and find a few people and still be able to go tonight. Of corse the earlier I get home means the sooner I had to leave my honey, and the sader he will be.....
Anywho! If I don't get in on anything tonight I will try an organise it for another time. Sometimes I forget things, and I'm sorry for that. But I hope yall had as much fun in game this weekend as I had out of it! And I'll see ya in game soon!

Well, Tashrina, Brunnhilda, Saronan, and Drover all got their Defender of Annuminas title tonight, after we killed all 5 of the named for the Leaders of the Invasion deed. We had help from a random RK in the area.

This will not stop us from continuing! For now we all have the next tier, and Brunn and I at least want other deeds in the area too, cuz were strange like that. So let me know when you are interested if you are. Even if you need/want all the outside guys, my memory is refrehed as to where they are now.

I'll be around tomorrow, but I won't push hard for it unless others want me too. But you can bet I'll try again next Monday. Barring me being a total dork and forgetting about something entierly. Or life smaking me in the face.

Well, I had random last minute events crop up anyway. Still, thanks for putting it together, my OCD feels less neglected now.

So, any night is equally likely to be good for me. I need some annuminas trolls, and kergrim, and limrafm...who's with me? Wouldn't mind running the instances either, I think I have two Tomb quests I'm too obsessive to drop.

So it's been over a month since our two nights of fun in Annuminas. Some of us got a lot done then. I still need more, and have been thinking about going back. I had somone very recently ask when I was going back so they could come along. With that, here I am.

Anyone interested in doing any part of Annuminas let us know!
Weather its Leaders of the Invasion Beginner (and who you still need)
Leaders of the Invasion Advanced (and who you still need)
Want a specific instance for whatever reason (and which: Garden, Palace, Tomb)
Or you just want to kill Gerthryg (trolls) which are a pain in the behind.

Now timing is gonna be another matter, this week is not enough notice, but personally I don't know my schedule for next week so I can't say anything in advanced. We don't like conflicting with raids, so we don't leave anyone out of an opportunity. But one thing I figure, is if everyone who wants to go say what they need, we can keep an eye out for when so many people who want that same thing are online and not too busy.

But what I'm actually saying, is I don't have to be there! You can get each other together and do it sometime. If 5 of you are on and bored and want trolls, go for it! You don't need 5, Bob and Tessar and I did it just the 3 of us and got our first tier done. In instances, you probably want at least 4 because of odd mobs like the ghosties in the palace, and it always helps taking someone who knows what they are doing.

So start posting what and when, and I'll start keeping an eye out for whos on. Thanks! And remember, end content, isn't the only content.

Hiya - I'd be up for a run in Annuminus. Was just thinking about it yesterday - I went back to see if it was soloable at 60 (was trying to get last Plaque for the citys-in-annuminus deed) but had no luck. I'll be on and if we can do it, lets rock!

Yeah I would be very interested in doing anything in Annuminus once I get Arendal max lvl'd. I'm looking to get some of the armour and such from there for cosmetics, anything else is a bonus.

So between 9 Hasties today we visited all 3 Annuminas instances and had a whole lot of fun. At least 7 deeds were done, between at least 4 people, and some people got amour pieces as well!
It was great fun and I know a few of us would be up for more soon so keep posting if you got something in mind!
I still need Gerthryg! and the Palace and Garden for the cosmetic piece! plus Kergrim...which isnt technically an Annum deed, but the area helps!
