Growing tired of playing an mmo with zero IRL friends and no real in-game friends, I'm considering leaving the game for a bit, again. Maybe for good, I dont know. I havent decided yet because I do love the game. Ive taken a couple weeks off as a trial, and really didnt want to quit. Only to get on a little late for a raid I had signed up for and found to be replaced with much Haste. I've seen others late on several occasions and we have waited without a problem. This just discourages me even more as to whether or not I should continue playing at all and whether or not I should stay in the kin. The kin has its cliques and I just dont fit into any of them. My work schedule has changed and im not able to sign up for any of the farming instances, the few i see posted anyways. Getting radiance gear has become a pug grind fest and the chances of getting the gear is laughable. The same goes for trying to get a book group going. I am off every weekend and cant seem to get a group together for anything. Im not expecting anyone to bend over backwards for anyone, especially not me. Im just saying I dont know if I fit into the kin.

I'm sorry to hear you are having so many problems with the game right now. Unfortunately, the kin is kind of going through some pains at the moment, with adjustments from recent people leaving, the difficulty being upped for DD, 16th and the watcher, and just general lack of new content. I don't want you to loose hope though. This kin is strong, and we are all willing to help each other out. The timing might just have been bad when you asked for help with books or rad instances. It happens more often than not.
The problem with the raid is unfortunate, I wasn't really around much at the time, so I can't speak to that, but I can assure you, those people who do run those raids go out of their way to be as fair to everyone as possible. I'm sure that whatever happened was just some misunderstanding, and I encourage you to talk to the raid leader (Stan I believe) regarding this issue.
You are not the only one experiencing a bit of a slump in regards to the game, it just seems to be some sort of infectious game bug going around, a LOTRO flu of sorts. Hang in there, we are a kin, and if we all face these issues together, we can come out of it much stronger than before.
For my part, if you see me in game, send me a tell, or I'll try to send you one, and find out what you need done, I'll make an extra effort to help get some groups going to help with the content you need.
