View Full Version : April 19th Watcher Raid
4/6 required, cashing a hope turn in I believe and still just 5 confirmed and 3 available? Any ideas on why the signups are so slow these days? I know he is proving to be difficult and the turtle raid is coming up next week. Are weekday raids better for people now maybe? Are people not signing up because they assume they wont be confirmed? Just curious really as to y'alls take on it. Tks. Maie

I blame Rigel...
in all seriousness I will try to log in and be available, just been a very hectic week and I dont want to sign up until I am certain I can be there. :)
Lies. blatant lies. when did this type of courtesy every stop you from signing up before Vaxx? And yes, it is Rigel's fault.

Someone please correct me if im wrong (and i probably am) but there was a push for a weekend raid. Are the ones that led that petition the same ones that recently left? Im too lazy to go to the thread and check.

Mostly the same people Hathor, though I think others like the idea of a weekend raid. I think the problem with tonights raid was a lack of champs. Kind of necessary for the fight, and can't do it without them. Not that I'm really an expert, since we haven't beaten him yet, but that's the rumor anyways.

Not signing up lately, flambe has been feeling poorly and we are both bored with the game (loth rep grind is dull and with everyone doing that every day, random runs and fun stuff is now a rare thing so theres nothing to do thats interesting).
If we could both get into the same raid, we might be more inclined to sign up. For now, lotr is on the back burner for us though, and that is likely to continue for a while. I am still running my champ through a few dailys so if you see me on say something.

I just want to note that I signed up for last night's raid. But, if I am not confirmed within a couple hours of the raid, I just take myself off and go do something else. In the case of last night, I was not confirmed as late as 7:30pm EST so I took myself off the list and quested around with Cely and Lerch.
I get that real life is important, I really do. But, if you sign up for a raid and get confirmed, I think you owe it to your raid group to make the run. And, if you need to cancel, try to do it with enough notice.

I agree with Helori in that I'm kinda burnt out on the game right now (as is my wife). I'm still logging on, largely out of habit, but I don't know how much longer that'll continue. Not much I can or want to do on Dilmor right now and since we suddenly have a preponderance of Captains, gearing out an alt is a tougher task than I expected and not as excited I'd hoped.
Hopefully their large raid in book 8 will perk things up a bit.

Due to my work schedule, they only watcher raids I will probably be able to go to are weekend ones. I couldn't do this one as it was my son's 6th birthday party. I will most likely be at any other weekend raid though.
